Report a bug or request a feature
If you are signed in, the fastest route is Settings, then Support, inside the app. That form arrives with your account details attached, which saves a round trip.
Otherwise write to support@eggnotes.app. Please leave out passwords, two-factor codes, account passwords, account recovery codes, and government identifiers. We never need them to help you, and we will never ask for them.
Common fixes
My import did not bring everything over
Import checks its own work. After it uploads, it verifies every note and every attachment byte for byte and shows you a report; if something cannot be proven identical, the import stops and names the file rather than continuing quietly. Read the report first, because it usually says exactly what happened. Every run lands in its own dated notebook, so if a run went wrong you can look it over and trash the whole thing without disturbing anything else, then run it again.
A note I wrote on another device is not here
Both devices need to be signed in to the same account and to have been online since the change. Egg keeps a full copy on each device and syncs in the background, so a device that has been offline catches up when it reconnects. Reloading the page forces a check. A first sync into a large library takes a while, so give it time before assuming something is wrong.
An image or attachment will not load
Attachments are fetched from storage with links that expire for security, so a page left open for a long time can hold stale ones. Reload the page. If it still fails, check whether you are offline: files you have not opened on this device before are not in its offline cache yet.
I cannot access my account
Use the account recovery options on the sign-in screen. Support will never ask for your password or recovery codes.
Search is not finding a note I know exists
Search runs on the local copy, so a note that has not finished syncing to this device is not searchable on it yet. Try a distinctive word from the body rather than the title, and check whether the note is in trash.
I want Egg on my phone
Open the app in your phone browser and add it to your home screen. It then launches like an app and reads offline. A native app is on the way.
Something else is wrong
Reload the page first, then try a private or incognito window, which rules out a stale cached copy. If the problem survives both, send it to us with the steps you took and what you expected instead.
Your notes, and getting them out
Export is in settings and it is always available, on every plan, including after a subscription lapses. It produces a portable archive you can read without us. Deleted notes sit in trash for 30 days before they are purged, so a mistake is recoverable for a month.
Billing and subscriptions
Purchases made through an app store are managed in that store’s account settings, where you can view, change, or cancel a subscription, and that store handles payment and refund requests. For anything about your subscription the store cannot resolve, or for a purchase made on the web, email support@eggnotes.app.
Privacy and your data
Our Privacy Policy covers what we collect and why, and the Terms of Service govern your use of the app. Access and deletion requests reach the same people at support@eggnotes.app.
